Dental implants are titanium roots, that are replaced with in the jawbone to resemble a tooth or group of teeth. A screw is inserted through the gums and into the jawbone. A porcelain crown is then attached to the screw to become the new tooth or teeth. They can be used to support dental prosthesis including crowns, dentures, and bridges. Today’s treatments are so natural looking, no one will know you had surgery. There’s approximately a 95% success rate for all implants. Tooth replacement options for dental implants

• Replace an individual tooth – if you have a single tooth missing, a single tooth implant is placed and restored over the top with a dental crown. The dental crown is made to look like the existing teeth to blend in with the smile and look as natural as possible.
• Replace several teeth – in some instances, mini dental implants may be placed on each side of a missing tooth or teeth to hold up a dental bridge. That is often done when patients have multiple teeth in a row that are missing.
• Replace all the teeth – full mouth dental implants use several mini dental implants along the dental arch to hold a full conservative denture in place. That provides the ultimate stability for patients who might not want to deal with traditional full dentures and seek better support and functionality.
